September 2026 member sticker: Belted Kingfisher

We're back to birds for September! This is the belted kingfisher, which I've never personally encountered. I did, however, see a photo of one posted by someone in the local furry chat.

This one is actually a female, because in a rare example for birds they actually have slightly cooler markings than males! Notably, the copper band across the chest seems to be a female-exclusive.

Cane members signed up by the end of the month will receive this 4 inch sticker in the mail. Thanks so much!
