September 2024 member sticker: Handsome Hawk

For some reason it's hard for me not to get too complicated with the markings on birds! This is the ferruginous hawk, whose breeding range extends through my local area. I haven't seen these guys much, but they prefer wide open areas where they can hunt rather than neighborhoods. To each their own!
