August 2026 member sticker: Woodhouse Toad

My quest continues for more reptiles and amphibians! Fish too. Mammals and birds are both prevalent and charismatic, and I want to be conscious of not over-representing them.

This is the Woodhouse's toad, which can be found in shrub-steppe regions near the Columbia and Snake rivers. They're pretty rare, and are considered especially vulnerable to climate change.

Cane members signed up by the end of the month will receive this 4 inch sticker in the mail. Thanks so much!
